Mangaluru: The police raided the center where immoral activities were going on in a building at Idya near Suratkal. They rescued three young women and arrested accused Punit Kumar along with his vehicle.
On Saturday, police sub-inspector of CCB unit of the city received an information that girls are being used to conduct immoral activities in a house near the Sri Mahalaxmi Complex in Idya village under the Suratkal police station limits.
Police found three young women and two customers. On inquiry of the customers, it came to light that accused Punit Kumar had called them to get involved in immoral activity with the young ladies. The police arrested Punit Kumar and confiscated Rs 51,450 in cash, one mobile and the car bearing registration number KA 19 MH 7765 that was used in the act.
A case bearing number 238/2018 under column 3,4,5,6 of ITP act and IPC 370 is registered against the accused in the Suratkal police station under and he is remanded to judicial custody.
